What to expect

Quality options depend on what the source exposes to your browser. Video-only and audio-only downloads work where the source format and tracks are supported. YouTube downloads, DRM circumvention and live stream recording are not supported. Use SnagVid only for media you own or have permission to download.

Closing the whole browser or reloading the extension may interrupt active jobs. Playback compatibility depends on the source codecs and your player.

Your privacy

The extension processes media detection and downloads locally. Read the privacy policy for details of site access, temporary files and support correspondence.
